World Wide Technology Named Cisco Public Sector Partner of the Year
WWT Takes Home a Total of Four Awards at the Cisco Partner Summit 2006
ST. LOUIS (March 27, 2006) – World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, was recognized with four awards at the recent Cisco Partner Summit 2006 in San Diego, Calif. The awards included: Public Sector Partner of the Year, Federal Direct Value Added Reseller (DVAR) of the Year, Federal DVAR Services Partner of the Year and Central Region Outstanding Performance in Advanced Security. WWT was also recognized as a Customer Satisfaction Excellence Partner, the highest distinction a partner can achieve within the Cisco Channel Partner Program.
World Wide has been a Cisco Systems partner for over 14 years. The company’s success has been a result of maximizing its Cisco engineering talent and investing resources into its services organization. WWT ranks as the sixth largest Cisco partner in the U.S., with channel sales of $330 million in 2005. The company hired more than 70 Cisco certified engineers in 2005 and holds over 200 Cisco certifications.
