WWT STRATEGIC RESOURCING
The right support at the right time to drive business outcomes
People are your greatest asset. Don’t take the search for them lightly.
Work environments are changing so fast it’s often hard for business and IT leaders to ensure workers have the right skills and training to capitalize on the latest technology investments. But those who turn to traditional headhunters to fill IT talent gaps should be prepared for the headaches, legwork and luck typically needed to land candidates who both have the right skills and are cultural fits.
Strategic Resourcing from WWT is different. Using proven processes, we invest our time and industry knowledge into matching only the best talent to your unique organizational needs.
Strategic Resourcing clients get real, on-going support for the life of each engagement. We immediately connect your new resources to our award-winning culture, to our vast network of engineers and architects, to our industry-leading ATC innovation ecosystem of labs, workshops and training, and to each other.

What We Do
Delivering exceptional experiences
We’re not in the business of delivering people. Our mission is to deliver exceptional experiences, expertise and enhancements to your IT teams on a long-term basis. Our ability to find the right resources at the right time — combined with our ability to provide a level of support and reach back that far exceeds industry standards — truly sets us apart.
Whether you need on-site or remote resources, our flexible models can fill nearly any IT skills gap. From complex technology implementations to operational support, our diverse talent pool maintains certified credentials that span the technology spectrum.
With hundreds of embedded resources transforming businesses globally, Strategic Resourcing is the right partner to accelerate your digital journey. Plus, our skilled resources can be consumed as needed at a price point that won’t break the bank.
Every expert on our extended team is backed by 3,000+ WWT technical resources, receives live support from our 24/7/365 Command Center, and has direct access to leading OEM personnel. Tom Gain, VP of Infrastructure Services
Regardless of the size of your project, our experts can add value. From sourcing entire project teams to handle mission-critical tasks, to finding the right person to supplement overburdened and short-handed project teams, we’ve done it all. We also have experience building and embedding technical teams to work in IT departments alongside our clients' day-to-day operations teams.
Close skillset gaps
Businesses often need a technical resource but have no one in house with the right skills. This often occurs when an organization needs to implement and operate newly purchased technology. To compound the issue, companies typically have trouble hiring a unique or in-demand skillset. In each case, Strategic Resourcing can help close that gap.
When headcount isn’t an option
It's common that a business leader won’t have the budget or necessary approval to add permanent headcount, but they do have the green light to add a contract position. Strategic Resourcing offers two flexible models to meet your needs:
- Dedicated resourcing: Typically 40 hours per week for three to six months.
- Designated resourcing: 20 hours per week of remote work, 13 weeks at a time.
We work with each customer to select and customize our model to fit their resourcing goals and budget.
Extending IT teams
Alternatively, some businesses might need additional headcount to supplement existing staff with day-to-day work, but need the freedom and flexibility for that headcount to fluctuate with demand. Strategic Resourcing's designated and dedicated models help here as well, as they offer the flexibility to extend IT teams at the speed of your business.
Exceptional software talent is difficult to recruit and retain. We tap into WWT's own pool of 400+ experienced developers to test, interview and endorse quality consultants who are ready to deliver business outcomes the moment they walk through your door. We treat our software consultants like our own employees, immerse them in our culture and provide them with quick access to our subject matter experts and professional development organization.
New Designated Remote Workers
To better assist clients in today’s challenging and virtual environment, WWT is launching a Designated Remote Worker solution. This offering provides clients with WWT technical expertise in easy to consume packages, starting with as few as 20 hours per week for 13 weeks. Remote experts are currently available in the following technology areas: route/switch, unified communications, firewall/cybersecurity, wireless, storage, virtualization, F5, and software development (Java, .NET, SQL).
Our Strategic Resourcing team consists of business leaders with decades of experience in services management, IT resourcing, engineering, professional services and customer satisfaction. They’ve helped organizations of all sizes, across industries, find and vet talent, fill skills gaps and accelerate mission-critical outcomes.
